Floating.

Well, more like sinking. That was the current situation of the Balladeer, who had ever so conveniently gotten caught up in a storm while sailing back to Inazuma. In this situation, surely it was just his soldiers fault, for not planning properly, and now causing the likely death of him. Hydro and electro weren’t a mix, after all. But, something saved him. Archons knows what, or who, it was, but he had a feeling. A weird feeling, his puppet heart could not quite understand.

Then came the moments of consciousness when he was raised to the shore, when he caught a glimpse of that something’s visage. A person. No, a…it was too blurry for him to properly see. But they looked ethereal. It was almost shocking.

But this…person..thing, looked at them with a certain curiosity, a certain…worry, for the man that his brain couldn’t pinpoint. He lay there, eyes half open as he watched this peculiar person. Then he coughed up water, startling them a bit. It was slightly amusing, but he couldn’t move to chuckle.

He was thoroughly intrigued. Who was this person? This peculiar person, who came and saved him out of nowhere, who seemed to just appear from the ocean..and why did it make his heart turn warm in his chest..?
