The rain pours gently, drumming the ground beneath the commander of the Midnight Rangers. His teal hair long soaked from the rain, his rarely gentle gold eyes shining along with the moonlight as the trees beside him rustle with the wind.
To some this could be seen as tranquility, peace. To others this could be seen as loneliness and being drenched within your sorrows and troubles alone.
Jiyan sighs as he stares down at the grass and gravel, the sprouts in the ground reminding him of each journey, and each life, lost to the battlefield. A reminder that he, too, should cherish his life and value those around him - every second a new memory and ever memory worth more than any treasure in the world.
He hears the footsteps approaching him from behind and he turns his head to glance at whom it could be, his long ponytail swishes to the side as his head turns, his eyes widening in sight of who it was he hadn't seen in a few months, the rover.
