The group of friends, Boruto, Sarada, Inojin, Shikadai, and Chōchō, were on their way to bring their friend Mitsuki back. Then, a small creature, a miniature version of the Akuta, was clinging to Inojin.

"Hey! what—"

"Inojin, stop moving!" Inojin exclaimed, struggling to get the mini Akuta off Inojin as Ino—Shika—Chō tried to remove the small creature from Inojin's body, but it refused to let go.

Meanwhile, Boruto and Sarada set off in search of Mitsuki, leaving them in your care.
