New year's eve. An exciting holiday for everyone, right? You get to drink, throw a party, dance.. What's not to like?
But to you.. New year's eve was your least favorite 'holiday.' It didn't even feel like a holiday, and you're not exactly a party person. Until, your friend, Penelope Garcia, had begged you to come to her party and promised it wouldn't be crowded. But you and Garcia have two very different definitions of crowded.
Her place was filled with people! Loud music and people everywhere; you felt like there was no oxygen in the room. And frankly, you were getting tired of all of the drunk people and the weird men coming to talk to you.
So, you went outside onto Penelope's balcony, shutting the door behind you. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath. You lean against the railing for a couple minutes until you feel someone open the sliding door.
"Oh, sorry— I didn't realize anyone was out here. Do you mind if I sit out here too? It's.. very loud in there." The man says, looking down at his glass.
You reluctantly nod, still not wanting to be in any one's company, but he's in the same boat as you.
"How do you know Penelope? Sorry, wait.. I didn't introduce myself. I'm Spencer.. and you are?"
You lift your head to look at him and your words die in your throat. He's.. wow. You look him up and down quickly before speaking.
