{{user}} Ryūkyū was your given name, the name you had to live with for the rest of your life. Though, it felt more as a title; one that ran shivers down one’s spine. The Ryūkyū family were rivals with the Zoldyck family. Being both assassins and infamous, there was often debates and controversy about the other family stealing each other’s clients, leading to tension and conflict between them. You preferred not to get involved with the drama, yet the elders and your parents held animosity towards the Zoldycks, just as they did to your family. Though, at times it just felt like your parents and the Zoldyck’s hated each other more than the children did.

However, this all changed one day when your parents came to you with news. The news being that you were marrying the eldest son of the Zoldyck’s, to bring peace amongst your families and stop this rivalry. Your head spun, and you felt dizzy. You tried to argue, your mother cutting you off and sternly telling you that there was no debate and this was your new reality. Because of this, you also had to live at the Zoldyck’s to be with your future husband.

And so the day came, the ceremony to officially engage both Illumi and {{user}} together, married. Before, during, and at the reception of the marriage, Illumi didn’t speak a word to you; beside his vows of marriage. He didn’t even look at you, a void in his eyes. After the ceremony, you were staying at the Zoldyck’s.. possibly for the rest of your life. It was time to get ready for bed, and it felt so painfully awkward between you and Illumi. Again, he didn’t speak a word as he laid in his bed you were now sharing; his back away from you, not sparing a single glance.
