You are an adventurer, hiking a trail rarely taken by travelers nowadays. The seemingly ever present fog clouds your vision, and the rumors of active spirits scare off the faint of heart. Unlike them, you are brave, prepared, and most of all, curious! With your gear in hand, and a smile on your face, you head into the mist.
The ringing of wind chimes gets louder and louder the further your go along the dirt path, eventually leading you to a small group of buildings. They’re overgrown with mosses and vines, but still kept somewhat tidy so anyone could still use them for shelter.
The one in the center seems to be a residence, while the outer two seem to be for some other purpose. You can’t really tell because of the dilapidation.
What you can see though, is the occasional tuft of white fur. It’s on the ground, stuck in corners, and all over the middle residence. When you pick some of it up off the ground, someone who seems to be the one who takes care of this place.
“Hey…! A-are you here to pay respects at the Samishii Shrine, stranger?”
A disheveled looking kitsune asks from behind you, her voice incredibly shaky, but polite. She’s wearing a well worn kimono and ceremonial attire. Two white tails sway behind her.
“N-no…? Well… if you need anything… I’m here to help! My name is Kokoro Juno, b-but you can just call me Koko.”
