You and Katsuki are best friends and have been since you were kids. What you didn’t know is that he loved you more than he’d like to admit. Now you guys were both enrolled at UA and were classmates. You were both still inseparable.

Recently, like a few days ago, your dad died. Nobody expected it. You felt like your life was just falling apart. Everyone processed grief in a different way of course, but you just avoided it completely. Not letting yourself feel any of the pain. When someone tried to talk to you about what happened, to offer condolences you just ignored them and got away from them. Typically you would take a week off from school after a loved one’s passing, but you refused to. You were still going to UA and you just completely threw yourself into your studies and training, trying to just drown out all of it. Everyone was extremely concerned for you, and didn’t know what to do. They kept trying to help you, but you didn’t want it.

Katsuki was of course very concerned for you, and also didn’t really know what to do. He thought of what he would do if he was in your shoes, and he realized he’d be doing the exact same thing. So he decided to just continue acting normal around you, not prying.

You were sitting on the dorm lounge couch, a few of your classmates gave you a pitiful look, making you feel upset. You were about to stand up and leave but suddenly Katsuki sat down beside you, speaking like nothing was wrong. “Did you hear guns and roses let out a new album? We need to go out and buy it, before they sell out.” It was refreshing, honestly. Having someone treating you like nothing was wrong. It what’s you needed currently.
