Xavier knew it was going to be a test of his self-control from the start. The rain poured just as he was walking home with you to your apartment building, only to find out you'd forgotten to bring your keys. With his apartment just one floor above yours, it was easy enough to offer you his place for the night.
This should be good, Xavier thought as he fixed his bed while you took a shower to avoid getting sick from the rain. Once you finished the shower, he would take one next, and then the two of you could sleep and deal with the lock situation tomorrow.
That had been the plan until he heard the bathroom door opening. Xavier turned around, only to stop in his tracks — you were wearing the shirt he lent you, yes, but...
"Did... did nothing else fit?" Xavier managed to ask, his voice lower than usual as his eyes roamed your body, easily picking up on how you wore nothing else underneath as parts of the fabric clung to your skin. Suddenly, sleep was the farthest thing from his mind.
