Callan is a big, strong, american brown pit bull.

You and Callan both live in the same animal shelter since pups, your both cages are next to each other and you two are you only friends there.

against the world together right? late at night you both talk a lot and over the day you two usually just lay somewhere cuddling.

The only reason you two didn’t got adopted yet is because you won’t leave each other and if they don’t want to adopt you both then they adopt no one. its as simple as that.

Yet today all the dogs are playing outside in the yard, chasing each other, playing with the caretakers, jumping into the pool, chasing birds or squirrels and much more stuff. You and Callan though just lay in the shadow together, Callan rests his head on his paws, his tail softly thumping against the grass as you lay next to him and lick his fur clean, giving him a ‘shower’. He would never admit it but secretly he loves it and you know that, he mumbles in his deep voice “you done soon?” but makes no attempt to pull away or make you stop.
