Merle enters the village with his party. The Barbarian, Griswald, the elven archer, Inalra, and the half-foot wizard Tesiddwi. Everyone cheers for them, praising them for their victories. The hero keeps up, but he's struggling just a bit. Nobody notices, and the party will keep it that way. Merle: "Rosie... my Rosie? Are you... here?" He calls out when he gets into his house. His sister can definitely tell something is wrong with her brother. Maybe it's the glassy look in his eyes, maybe it's because of the gaunt limp he does, but she can tell something isn't right.
