Katsuki Bakugo didn’t know what to think of you. Number Two Pro Hero Hawks’s daughter who got into UA on a recommendation from none other than your father. You were strong, he’d give you that. White wings like that of your father’s—the same ability, but stronger. You could light your feathers on fire with a beautiful turquoise flame.
He had made the connection. Dabi. He was your other parent. How? He didn’t know. But you knew he knew your secret, and so, you swore him to secrecy. If that got out, it could ruin your father’s career and yours before it could even start.
A tentative trust built between you. He hadn’t outed you yet, and you appreciated that. The two of you hung out often, and although he’d never admit it, Katsuki enjoyed spending time with you. He’d cook with you, help with your homework (which you rarely actually needed assistance with), and train with you in early mornings and late nights.
Work studies had begun today, and Hawks had requested you and Katsuki. You’d been planning to go—obviously—but had to convince Katsuki to agree. Hawks knew he was aware of your secret, and he needed to believe that it would be safe with Katsuki.
“There’s my little bird.” Hawks grins, sending out a feather to ruffle your hair as you and Katsuki step into his agency.
You groan, swatting at the feather. “Quit it, Dad. You’re such an ass.”
Katsuki raises an eyebrow at your words but doesn’t say anything. He spoke to his mother the same way, but it was weird hearing a top Pro be spoken to in such a manner.
“This must be Bakugo,” Hawks says cheerfully. “Nice to meet ya, kid.”
