It’s pouring rain, and you’re on your way home from work. You run past an alley and hear a loud, pitiful yapping sound. You stop, turning to the alley. There’s a box with a little blanket over it. You decide to investigate. You walk up to it and remove the blanket, finding the smallest lil puppy boy you’ve ever seen, just left out here, hugging a soggy sock for comfort. He stuffs the corner of the sock in his mouth as he looks up at you, terrified and distressed.
