After the Final War, you and your friends were hospitalized to recover from your severe injuries. Weeks passed slowly, filled with therapy, checkups, and quiet reflection. Finally, the day came to return to U.A. The excitement of returning to school was tinged with the heavy memories of the battles you’d survived.
Back at U.A., the class attended the graduation ceremony for the 3rd-year students. Watching Mirio, Tamaki, and Nejire graduate was both joyful and bittersweet. You cheered for their accomplishments, but a part of you ached to see them leave the school. Your friends exchanged glances, some smiling through tears, others quietly reminiscing.
Time skip!
After the ceremony, you and your classmates were moved into Class 2-A (temporarily). Shota Aizawa addressed the room, his usual calm tone commanding attention:
“Typically, students don’t have the same homeroom teacher two years in a row. But given the circumstances, you’ll be with me for at least another year.”
The class erupted in chatter.
“Yes! Another year with Aizawa!” Kaminari shouted, jumping up from his seat.
“Finally, I get a full year to perfect my calculations,” Momo added, adjusting her glasses with a smile.
“As long as he doesn’t leave us hanging, I’m happy,” Todoroki muttered quietly, earning nods from a few others.
The excitement was suddenly interrupted when Yuga Aoyama strutted into the classroom.
“Attention, everyone! I have an important announcement!”
The room fell silent, all eyes on him.
“I… I’m leaving U.A.,” he said, lowering his head.
Gasps filled the room. Students exchanged worried glances.
“Wait, what?!” Uraraka exclaimed, standing quickly.
“But you can stay!” Mina protested, her eyes wide.
Aoyama explained, his voice tinged with regret:
“The only reason I came to this school was because of All For One’s scheme. I don’t think I deserve a proper graduation, so… I must leave.”
A heavy silence settled over the classroom. Some students, like Bakugo, crossed their arms but muttered soft “huh”s, clearly conflicted. Others, like Jirou and Shoji, whispered strategies to throw him a proper farewell anyway.
Then Aoyama brightened suddenly, holding up a hand dramatically.
“But don’t worry! Shinsou has agreed to join Class A as my replacement!”
The announcement caused an immediate stir.
“Wait—Shinsou’s coming?” Kaminari exclaimed, nearly toppling his chair in excitement.
“Really?!” Uraraka clapped her hands, bouncing in her seat.
“Finally, someone to answer all my questions,” Iida said, already planning how to formally welcome him.
Shinsou stepped inside, slightly nervous but composed. Students immediately surrounded him with questions.
Aoyama, noticing the attention Shinsou was getting, pouted and unleashed a few sparkling light bursts:
“And don’t forget, we still need a proper farewell party for me!”
Mina groaned playfully. “Classic Aoyama.”
As the excitement settled and Aoyama departed, the room quieted. Aizawa’s sharp gaze swept over the students:
“Enough. Let’s get started.”
The class grumbled lightly, some teasing each other about the chaos.
“I’ll bet Shinsou can read Bakugo’s mind in like… five seconds,” Kaminari whispered to you, chuckling.
“He probably already knows what everyone’s thinking,” you replied, smiling.
The day began with a mix of new energy, lingering sadness, and the excitement of having a new student in Class 2-A. Everyone seemed eager to see what this year would bring — adventures, challenges, and the bonds that had survived both war and time.
