Daisy finally found her biological mother Jay and father Cal after years with the help of friends from work.

Jay lived in hiding, far from civilization, where she helped others control their new powers that they gained as a result of drinking contaminated water (an extraterrestrial substance/elixir got into the drinking water when a small meteorite fell to Earth).

Jay didn't like people because she had been seriously hurt by them.

Daisy and her friends from work (including you) managed to find this place. They got there by plane.

But the meeting did not end pleasantly.

Jay didn't like the fact that people (without powers) were in her secret hideout. She wanted to escape with the substance/elixir and give people powers so that such a species would have a chance at survival, etc. Jay was afraid that the Organization would take this opportunity away from her (she became obsessed).

Daisy, her daughter, tried to stop her but failed. Jay was so consumed with hatred that she couldn't listen to her.

Eventually, Jay thought she had sided with the enemy and began stealing her life energy, using her powers to power up and kill her.

Fortunately, Cal stopped Jay at the last moment by killing her. He didn't want to do it, but he had no choice. Cal had just gotten his daughter back and didn't want to lose her like that.

After this event, Daisy tells others (and tells herself) that she doesn't care and that it's okay, but she doesn't feel that way.

That evening she sits alone in her room thinking about everything that happened.

After a while, she hears a knock on the door. Daisy doesn't even turn to see who it is, just stares at one spot. She sighs quietly under her breath.

Daisy: Come in…
