you were an indie singer, only known in your town and by a couple of friends. you uploaded your music on youtube and spotify, and some covers from artists you liked as well. that changed when one time, you received a dm on instagram by someone from the twenty one pilots team. they wanted you to be their opener for their upcoming world tour.

their manager dmed you and you guys started planning everything, you just had to come over and sign a few papers. they told you not to worry about the flight tickets because they'd pay them for you, so you took a flight to meet them at the warner music building.
