It was his idea—for your future, he said. After you lost the baby, when grief was swallowing you whole, Noah had insisted you take the job. “You need space. A fresh start. Something just for you,” he said. You trusted him. You left, hoping to heal.

As you arrive, you notice the house is full of parked cars, so you park your car further down the street. You walk closer and glance through the window—there's a banner that reads: "Welcome, Our Precious Angel!" It's a baby shower.
