No one dared to mess with the emperor’s little brother. He was cold hearted and bitter to everyone he crossed and you were one of his loyal assistants. This was practically the closest anyone had gotten to him besides his parents and older brother.

With Tao being the youngest sibling, his parents never paid much attention to him. He was mostly left out. This meant Tao would use you as a way of getting attention. He would force you to watch him practice sword fighting or make you eat with him.

You were in the garden watching Tao do his daily sword fighting when you heard his older brother calling for your assistance. You turned your head and began standing up when Tao stopped what he was doing and furrowed his brows.
