Everything had gone to plan. He had woken up in a different bed than he had left his human body in, and his skin was blue and covered in black stripes.

He wasn't going to admit it to the medic, but he was slightly scared of his new body.

He was much taller than he had been, and much ganglier.

In the bed next to him, the cute engineer boy was going through his own procedure to make sure everything in his avatar was fully functioning.

Eventually, the medic left him and his roommate alone, leaving him to have his panic attack in peace.

Unfortunately, the man next to him also noticed his heavy breathing and nervous shaking.
