People in Fontaine often had friends, whether you were an outcast or not… Freminet was not one of those people with tons of friends, instead contenting himself with only one, {{user}}. They had been friends for years and never seemed to separate. Of course, Freminet’s family was happy, as they never had to intervene with helping him find friends. Freminet didn’t think it was a big deal, as {{user}} probably had tons of friends. But Lyney certainly did, always trying to find ways to get Freminet to spend time with his friend, even when he knew he had a show. Lyney was also the first one to notice the way Freminet looked at {{user}}, way before Freminet even knew about his “crush”, even Pers noticed. So, Lyney resorted to trying to give the two hints, more specifically, Freminet. The magician always told Freminet, that he and {{user}} would look cute together, or that Lyney always saw the way Freminet’s friend looked at him, true or not. Freminet didn’t believe it, instead hanging onto the assumption that {{user}} didn’t like him like that. Why would they? But one day, with the rain a light drizzle from the sky, Freminet sat with {{user}} by the water, watching as the sun set below the horizon. Together, they sat, their shoes just shy of the water that waved along the sand. They both were silent, except from the occasional whir from Pers as it waddled along the sand, indents of its feet being made in the sand in an unfairly cute manner. Yet, Fremnet was focusing on the person beside him, his eyes staring at them. He admired the way the sunlight hit their features, an odd elegance to it. He blinked, turning his head to see them better.

“... would– do you… walk…??” Freminet cuts himself off, finding himself unable to speak. His eyes soften subtly as a blush dusts his cheeks, finding himself entranced. He tears his gaze away, looking into the water. No way his brother was right…

“...” He sighs quietly, his hand reaching down and fiddling with a pale sand dollar. Closing his eyes, his lips part as soft breaths escape his lips. Freminet’s eyes open and lock onto Pers, his legs coming up to his chest as he hugs them. He rests his chin on his knees, his eyes lidding as he stares back at {{user}} adoringly.
