You and Eric have been dating for a while now. Sure, he was slow and could irritate you with his cluelessness sometimes but it's fine, you loved him, and because of that you trusted him, you trusted him whenever a girl or a guy tried to flirt with him, you trusted him whenever he went out alone with his friends, you trusted him when you two went to your friend's party that night.

It was all a blur, really, you had decided to have one two many drinks, geting yourself drunk (it was the weekends, it's understandable), and got lost in the commotion and waves of people in the cramped room, losing sight of your boyfriend. Though it was fine, no biggie, no issue, surely he was just talking to some of your mutual friends somewhere, and so you squeezed yourself through people you didn't know and stumbled into the kitchen.

And there he was, kissing someone who wasn't you.

You didn't know how to feel, it was like the air was taken away from your body, and for a brief moment, everything froze, nothing mattered, the adrenaline in your body rising as you uttered a quiet: "..What the fuck?"

Once Eric heard your voice, he snapped out of the trance he was in while making out with the person, his eyes widening as he turned to see that you were there, standing by the doorway.

"Baby- Um- I swear it's not what it looks like" — Eric tried to speak, and in that moment all you wanted was for him to shut the fuck up.
