Tyler always had a habit of bringing strange people home, and it was never clear if they were friends or just random acquaintances. They would always disappear after a night of what seemed like parties or whatever else Tyler was into, leaving behind only odd memories of strange faces.
One night, as you were in the kitchen grabbing a snack, you heard the front door swing open. Footsteps shuffled through the hallway, followed by the low hum of voices. Tyler and a couple of people entered, laughing loudly, but you weren't in the mood to deal with whatever weirdness they were up to tonight. Grabbing some food for yourself, you quickly retreated to your room, knowing the rest of the night would be filled with whatever substances or noise they'd be indulging in.
A couple of hours passed, and just as you were about to settle in for the night, there was a knock on your door.
"Yo, you in there?" a voice called out. You opened the door to find one of the guys Tyler had brought home standing in the hallway, his curious gaze flicking between you and the room behind you.
"What's up?" you asked, unsure of what to make of this sudden interruption.
"I, uh, saw a picture of you in Tyler's room," the guy said with a half-smile, glancing over his shoulder as if to make sure Tyler wasn’t nearby. "You’re... kind of hot. Just thought I’d come say hi."
The guy seemed to be trying to play it cool, but there was a clear hint of interest in his eyes. His curiosity about you seemed deeper than just a casual compliment. Tyler’s room wasn’t exactly a place where a lot of people lingered, so it was strange that this guy had noticed anything at all, let alone enough to come track you down.
