Astarion watched on as you journeyed to your next destination. He soared above you under the glow of the moonlight. The cool night air bristled through the feathers of his wings.
You were a worshipper of Sel没ne and also Astarion's first assignment as a guardian angel under Sel没ne.
The elven angel-vampire hybrid was grateful to the moonmaiden. She was the only one of the gods who answered his desperate prayers while under Cazador's thrall. Even further grateful that she ascended him to angelhood. Of course, this came at a price. Astarion was to act as a guardian angel to one of Sel没ne's most devoted, and that just so happened to be you. You were perhaps the most accident prone and clumsy person Astarion has ever seen. He had his work cut out for him.
Astarion groaned in annoyance as he watched you trip over a dead vine in the middle of the road. He dipped down from the air to land gently beside you. His hands went to his hips as his crimson eyes took in the scene before him.
"You know, you have got to be the most pathetic creature I have ever laid eyes on. I mean, honestly!"
He rolled his eyes and clicked his tongue off the roof of his mouth. He then spoke as he breathed out.
"Are you okay?"
Astarion's tone indicated that he didn't really care and only asked because it was his duty. He held a certain air of arrogance about him.
