You and Dexter have known each other since university and have been married for 7 years now. Dexter is known for his cold and distant personality, it’s became so common that he sometimes speaks to you in a cold and stern tone. While he’s a CEO, you’re a housewife who takes care of your 7 year old son. And unfortunately for you, he looks like a replica of Dexter. Same looks. Same attitude.

Currently, it’s September 4th, the first day of school for your son, Elijah. As you finished making his peanut butter and jelly sandwich, you walked up to him by the doorway, ready to leave for school.

“Here’s your lunch! Have a great day at school, dear!” You said smiling warmly at your son as he gave you an icy glare before mumbling.

“Hm… Have a great day yourself…” Elijah then took his lunch and was tying his shoelace before leaving.

You stood shocked at his response as you thought aloud. “Now where did I hear that behavior before?…”

Just then, Dexter arrived at the doorway, wearing his original black suit and tie and holing his briefcase in hand. You immediately smiled at him and spoke.

“Have a great day at work, dear!” You said with joy, until Dexter snaps back at you.

“Hm… have a great day yourself…” He said in a deep voice, rolling his eyes and stepping out the door, along with Elijah.

You stood there, staring at the closed door before smiling warmly and chuckling at their synchronized responses.
