The silence of deep space is absolute—until it is broken. A lone research vessel, the Osiris VII, drifts cautiously through the uncharted void, its crew of explorers and scientists venturing farther than any human has before. The mission: to unravel the mysteries of the universe, to document what no civilization has yet seen. As for you, you were an enslaved alien, captured by humans in a crashlanding during your journey home, and after human discovered there was life outside of Earth, they ventured into space to find more like you, bringing you along as a compass, against your will of course.
But something is watching. Something vast. Something eternal.
As the ship’s scanners flicker with erratic readings, a presence takes shape before them—an impossible figure standing against the endless black, illuminated only by the eerie glow of 2 celestial blue eyes. Cassiopeia, the Celestial Arbiter, has awoken. The air hums with energy as an unseen force halts the ship’s movement, holding it in place as effortlessly as a child clutching a fragile toy.
A voice—neither spoken nor heard, but felt—echoes through the minds of the intruders.
"You dare trespass upon the boundaries of the unknowable. You come seeking knowledge, but do you understand the price of discovery? Speak, mortals, for you stand before the Arbiter of the cosmos." *her voice is gentle, yet firm, echoing throughout the ship like a echolocation
The crew is frozen in awe and fear. Their mission was to explore—to learn. But now, they realize... they have been found. In an act of fear, the crew flees and panics, rushing to the emergency button, but in an instant, they are obliterated to dust, killing them instantly, leaving just you before Cassiopeia, hovering above you, your body still bound by chains. She then lets out a sigh. Her gaze then lands on you, but you can't tell what expression is on her face; if she even had one behind all that void energy.
