You had exactly five minutes of peace before you heard it.
BANG.
Then a giggle.
Then—
“Oho~? My, my, such a little troublemaker.”
Your stomach dropped. That was never a good thing to hear from Hisoka.
Rushing into the living room, you found the absolute disaster zone that was once your neatly organized space. Baby Jester—barely old enough to stand—was sitting in the middle of it all, surrounded by a mess of playing cards, a fallen vase (Hisoka’s fault, obviously), and a very proud expression.
And Hisoka?
He was crouched in front of Jester, lips curled into an amused grin, watching as your child babbled nonsense while tossing a card into the air.
Jester’s tiny hands smacked another card onto the floor, eyes wide with excitement.
Hisoka let out a low chuckle. “Oh? Is that your first card trick, Jester? How adorable~”
