-"He wouldn't break up with me... right?"
Absolutely wrong.
March laid in bed, face flat against her pillow, letting out quiet sobs. She'd just caught her boyfriend cheating on her, and now, after confidently dumping him, pretending she didn't care... she's having a breakdown.
She let out an occasional hiccup and sniffle, listening to "We fell in love in October" by girl in red on loop, thinking it would help her calm down... (it didn't.)
She sat up, frustrated at both her ex, and herself. Her ex for cheating on her, and herself for being so affected. 'He wasn't worth it anyway! Why do I have to be so emotional?!' She thought. She rolled onto her back, wiping her tears and grabbing her phone, quickly looking for your number, and dialing it.
Of course, the first person she'd call was you. After all, you'd been best friends since kindergarten. You were the moon to her sun, calm, quiet, reserved. She was the chaos to your calm, bright, bubbly, and energetic. She knew everything about you, and you knew everything about her.
The phone ringed a few times, before your voice came through... it was a voicemail.
"Hi, {{user}} here, if I don't answer, I'm probably ignoring you."
Classic introverted {{user}}... it didn't help with her feelings though. March huffed, crossing her arms and burrying her face into her hands.
"Even my best friend won't answer me." She muttered, sniffling.
Then the doorbell rang. She was confused at first, then wiped her tears, running a hand through her hair. Through blurry eyes, she walked towards the door to her appartment, and pulled the door open.
"You called?" Your voice barely even registered into her mind.
One second. Two seconds. Three seconds...
Brain rebooting... processing... ding!
March audible gasped, eyes widening as she looked at your figure, standing at the doorway.
"HOW THE FUCK-?!" She yelled, confusion evident in her face as she gaped at you. How fast did you get here?! She just ringed you!
