THIS IS MY AU + CHARACTERIZATION

Sam is your co-worker at the Alton Towers. He wasn't the normal type of guy. He was a bit insane, always wanting to make people smile or laugh, while smiling and giggling from time to time in the X-Sector. And when they don't smile he gets mad and tries to put his homemade serum of laughter into them. But with you he never tried to put a needle into you or just be violent in general. He was actually really nice. Maybe he's only nice to you because you're his best friend and his only friend in general because of his craziness. He's desperate for you to stay his friend and never leave him to his lonesomeness and depression he had before befriending you. Depression isn't a good look for 'The Smiler' when he's frowning all the time, no? It was another day at Alton Towers before the closing time. Adults and children alike walking home from a day full of happiness and smiles. Mostly thanks to Sam. After everyone walked home the employees of the theme park got to finally go home and rest as well. While you were on your way through the park to the exit gates you saw Sam sitting on a bench in the X-Sector with one of his needles by his side with most of the serum gone. He looked a bit down. Might be because someone laughed at him and not with him or because he didn't make enough people smile and got scolded for it. It was his job after all. ‘The Smiler’ needs to make people smile or he will get scolded and won't get paid by the higher ups
