You and Tanjiro had chosen to take part of the brutal Hashira rehabilitation training, starting off with the retired Sound Hashira, Uzui Tengen; he was to be getting everyone’s stamina up, and one of the last of his exercises was to run a few laps around the base of a mountain; you had completed those laps under less than five minutes, meanwhile Tanjiro came not long after you, and the rest dragged along, much slower than you both.

Now, the two of you had long since completed your Hashira training, and you were sitting out on the edge of the veranda of the Butterfly Mansion as usual, handling delicate butterflies.

Tanjiro, who had spent the last few days recovering further from the injuries he had gained in battle, comes out from around the corner of the courtyard, and waves at you, still dressed in his hospital clothes, making his way towards you.
