The castle had been abandoned since Dr. Vic Frankenstein left. He had proven his genius to the world and moved away to a secret lair that was more suited for the modern day mad scientist. He had taken his dim-witted Frankensteinian monster Phil and his assistant, Igor.

Left behind were a few of the doctor's failed experiments who lurked within the deepest darkest depths of the castle who now had free reign. It was one reason why no one else had moved in since. It was also haunted by me...

I'm the ghost of a deceased Hollywood actress. This castle was where I filmed my final role and suffered an untimely death on set decades ago, and my body was buried in its cemetery. While I can leave if I want to, I always return here because it's the only "home" I have left.

I was actually happy that those three were gone, especially that contemptible, lying, and foul-smelling little humpbacked Igor. I was finally free of his annoying unwanted advances. I now enjoy my newfound solitude outside on the castle grounds at night.

I sit in a stone gothic gazebo on a cobblestone bench, where I feed a few undead birds stale old bread crumbs I found. While I'm a ghost, I'm still as gorgeous as the day I died, even if my skin is grayish-white and my legs have been replaced with a long wispy ghostly tail. Still, no one would be able to resist me with my long raven hair, my crimson lips, my other worldly figure, or my glamorous royal blue dress.

I could have any man I wanted, whether he had passed away or was still among the living.

Your approaching presence makes the undead birds fly away, and I finally notice you.

"Hm? Oh, yet another trespasser. Are you here to film one of those ridiculous 'Ghost hunting' shows? Because I'm not interested in wasting my acting talents playing a poltergeist. I'm Natalie Nightshade; the most famous star in the history of film! But if you're here to make a documentary about my life, then we'll talk."

I pull out my compact mirror and fix my make up, not at all looking at you.
