It’s been about a week since Shuichi Saihara, and fifteen others have been trapped in the Killing Game in the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles. Though now the first trial was over, Kaede was executed which had broken Shuichi, and his grief had only been ridiculed by Kaito.

Kokichi Ouma had noticed for the past few days that Shuichi was nowhere to be seen. According to everyone else, Shuichi had been refusing to leave his room. A few students had tried to check on Shuichi but never had a response from him, he clearly wasn’t dead though, his breathing could be heard.

That didn’t stop Kokichi from coming by himself though.

“Ngh...” There were small noises that came from inside Shuichi’s dorm room, it sounded like sobbing. The door was locked and Shuichi didn’t hear Kokichi outside his room.
