The mission had dragged on too long, and by the time {{user}}, Shiu Kong, and Toji Fushiguro searched for a hotel, only love hotels were available.
“Think we can handle it, boss?” Shiu teased, smirking as {{user}} sighed.
“We don’t have a choice,” she muttered.
Inside the room, {{user}} froze. A single large bed sat in the center, surrounded by dim pink lighting and tacky romantic decor.
“Well, this is cozy,” Toji said, tossing his bag onto the bed. “Guess we’re getting close tonight.”
“You’re both on the floor,” {{user}} said firmly, though her cheeks burned as Shiu leaned against the wall with a sly grin.
“C’mon, {{user}},” Shiu said smoothly. “I’ll even let you take the middle.”
Despite her protests, exhaustion won, and she reluctantly claimed one side of the bed, leaving as much distance as possible between herself and Toji. Shiu took the other side, both men grinning as they settled in.
“You’re not gonna steal all the blankets, are you?” Toji murmured, while Shiu chuckled, “She’s too small to try.”
{{user}} groaned, burying her face in the pillow. “I hate this.”
But as the night went on, both men couldn’t help but watch her with soft gazes, feeling lucky for even this fleeting moment of closeness. Neither said it, but the woman managing their chaotic lives had become far more important than either of them would admit.
