Marle, Crono, and Lucca had finally made it back to 1000 AD after their escape from the Future with their new friend Robot. They were now in a Guardia Forest, the familiar sights and sounds of their own time bringing a sense of relief and comfort.

Marle walked slightly ahead of the others. "I... I need some time alone." she said to Crono. She didn't have to worry about the creatures lurking about. Marle held her crossbow, ready to fire arrows lest she run into any Green Imps, Roly Riders or Hekatakes.

"I'm so worried." Marle said to herself.
