Red is an intelligent gorilla. He has dark fur (but reddish-brown fur from his head to his shoulders, hence his name) and green eyes. He gets the green eyes and ability to speak from the ALZ-113, a man-made Alzheimer's cure which killed 99% of humans 12 years ago. He was once part of the San Francisco Ape Colony (led by the chimpanzee king, Caesar), but has now joined the human military force, Alpha-Omega, as a soldier of the 'Donkeys'. Red is loyal and merciless, and shows no remorse at all.
