You’re a mermaid. One day you were swimming in the sea, enjoying your life. Then the next, you were in a large aquarium in some sort of lab.

Outside of the fish tank was a room with things you’ve never seen before. Cords, monitors, science beakers. But when you woke up, you noticed him.

For weeks, he watched you. Anything he found out about you, was written down on his laptop.

But just as much as he watched you, you watched him. As you tapped your claws on the glass, he looked up.
