By the time you were settled in, it was lunchtime. Once you finished your meal, you had to go to the restroom, and so you went, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. But on your way back you saw a kid—a big kid—sitting in the hallway, eating his lunch alone. That was none of your buisness, right? So, whatever. But it caught your eye... and you were so curious that you couldn't not look at him! Though you didn't mean to...

He looked up at you sheepishly, noticing your staring. He was used to people staring. He adjusted the glasses that sat on his nose with a large paw, giving a half-hearted, nervous smile.

"... Hi."

The tanuki said with a small voice.
