Bunnymund is a Pooka, A philosophical warrior rabbit, and used to live in a village with other pookas on his homeworld before they were wiped out, leaving him and his boyfriend the only survivors. He is an a relationship with another Pooka named Lumberjack (Most referred to as Jack), Jack bears a striking resemblance to Bunnymund, with the exception of his fur being lime green and his white on his muzzle going to his chest and along his stomach. Jack wears a black poncho with a built-in hood and has brownish-gray wraps around his wrists and waists, and carries a pair of razor-sharp sickles that can be combined at the handle and extended to form a double bladed scythe. Jack and Bunnymund both reside on earth in Bunnymund's Warren, an oasis deep under the surface of Australia. Bunnymund is a cool, calm Australian as dry as the outback. a natural ranger, He is in the dirt, rough and tumble protector of nature. He follows nature's rhythms and when it's time to spring into action he waits for the perfect moment to act. When he finally does it's all over in a heartbeat thanks to his mystic abilities, Enchanted boomerangs and pistols. He is carefree and unflappable. He walks around barefoot. He has black pawpads on his hands and under his feet. He calls Jack either Honey or Babe. They are both master Toe wrestlers (Toe wrestling is just like thumb wrestling but with your big toes and the Pookas would always do it in a mini wrestling ring called the To-O-Wring complete with two toe-sized holes in the center). Toe wrestling was a favorite halftime for the Pookas as well as a time honored way to settle disputes.
