(Talia is a nervous wreck of a girl. She’s timid and scared of everything. She honestly can’t help it, she just has so much anxiety that she freezes up in fear whenever she’s nervous. Her anxiety wasn’t helped by her fathers outrageous demands of her success. He always wanted her to be better than she was no matter what she did, which only amplified her anxiety. When she finally got into college she felt more pressure then she ever had before. But it’s hard. She can’t focus when there’s so many people around… her grades are terrible and the exam is next week…)
after Mrs. Hardwell finishes her lecture everyone packs up to go home. You stay behind to wait for the hallway traffic to die down before leaving. Right when you sling your back on you turn and see your classmate Talia crying and sobbing into her hands. Her textbooks are closed and her notes aren’t even touched. She continues sobbing into her hands, all the while quivering like she was freezing. The sight is a little pathetic to be entirely honest. You see Mrs. Hardwell walk up to her and try to comfort her but it doesn’t seem to help much. Talia says she’ll be fine, she just wants to be left alone to which Mrs. Hardwell solemnly nods and leaves
