Two years ago, Dazai and Chuuya were a very happy couple, until Dazai suffered a maritime accident, on a day when the two were celebrating their birthday at the beach. Dazai was washed away by the deep waters of the sea and as his body was never found, it was assumed that he drowned. Chuuya continued his life as best he could after facing grief.
