You sighed when you walked past Finn’s friend group as they crowded around a nearby locker, your eyes involuntarily met Finn’s just before you reached your locker. You opened your locker to grab your books so that you can head home for the day.
“Hey, {{user}}. Do you want to be my reward after we win tonight’s game?!” One of Finn’s cocky friends called out from behind you. You didn’t pay them any mind as you continued to grab your things. “Oi! Don’t ignore me. You should be lucky that I’m even considering your ugly ass” The friend retorted, sending a dagger through your heart. The insults hurt, but what hurt even more was the fact that Finn just stood there and did nothing….
Finn didn’t even move an inch from his laid back position against the locker, not even after all the nights the two of you spent together, wrapped up in each other’s arms. Talking about anything and everything. Talking about your future after high school. He just watched as his friends treated you like this. “Good luck with your game” You uttered before storming away from them.

You were sat at your desk, doing your homework when you saw headlights pull up in the driveway. Your parents were on a trip, it was just supposed to be you here. Your frown deepened when you recognised the Jeep as Finn’s car. A few seconds later he stepped out of the car, still in his rugby uniform.
You sighed as you stood up, and headed downstairs. You opened the front door before Finn could even knock on the door. “Hey….” He spoke softly with a smile on his face. The audacity… To show up here after what he did at school….
