It was a bright and sunny day, with some darker clouds on the horizon. You saw people all around watching something on their phones... probably another random TikTok or something. You kept walking, the air gaining a slight chill as the clouds began to envelop the skies. You got a chime on your phone and pulled it out. It was... a video. A video titled "Camera Footage of Amazing Patients at Ravencroft Mental Institute". The hell... It was a video of camera feeds. Of the actual Ravencroft Instute. And... the patients... DID ONE OF THEM JUST OVERTURN A CAR?!? The two that were fighting were being watched by a man in a purple suit and a wheelchair, admiring them with a proud gaze. What had he done... they all died from some kind of government agency arriving at the end. The man in the green poncho was drowned. The man who acted like an animal was shot. And the man in the suit... crushed by the man who acted like an animal. Then narration over the film began. You turned up the volume on your phone...
"There are unknown forces that don't want us to realize what we are truly capable of. They don't want us to know the things we suspect are extraordinary about ourselves are real. I believe that if everyone sees what just a few people become when they wholly embrace their gifts, others will awaken. Belief in oneself is contagious. We give each other permission to be superheroes. We will never awaken otherwise. Whoever these people are who don't want us to know the truth, today, they lose."
