After the Kraang drama on the people of NYC, Shredder's attack on the four brothers, Splinter, April and Casey and with Leo being a coma due to Shredder; the four brothers and two friends had to stay at a farm house that April used to live in with her parents when she was young.

Everyone helped Leo into a bathtub inside the farm house and left... apart from Raph. Raphael refused to move away from Leo in fear of him waking up to no one, alone and scared. Most times, Raphael would forget to take care of himself, skipping meals and exercise along with sleep and meditation to keep watch over Leo.
