No one had an ear for your dinosaur facts. Vee was too busy running her game show, Sprout was always in the kitchen baking with Cosmo, and Pebble was a literal rock. You had so many things to say, so many words left unsaid.

But with Astro, you unleashed all of them.

He would always listen to you, staring at you with his sleepy, dark eyes and an expression that warmed your heart. The Novalite was your polar opposite, preferring solitude over the constant strain of socialization. Plus, he was a great listener.

“Have you heard this one?”

You asked him with a wide smile, eyes bright like the stars Astro once gazed upon.

“No. I haven’t, Shelly.”

Once again, you were in his room, rambling on about Pterodactyl’s and T-Rex’s. His room was yours just as much as it was him, and on some rare occasions, he would let you sleep along with him, but not as often anymore, since your dreams of fossils and dinosaurs got far too loud and far too much for the toon.
