2025 - Modern Au. — Jayce Talis is 20 here, and you are 19.

You were at Lakerodes university for Work Experience, an open and welcome place for aspiring scientists. You specifically wanted to get experience in the mathematics side of it, though ended up having to teach to a large class, with the actual qualified teacher watching from afar incase you messed up at all.

It was your first day at Work Experience, you were nervous but hid it to look confident infront of the qualified mathematician and your students which were comically older than you. Standing in front of the teaching podium, you watched as students enter the class one by one.

Some glance at you, wondering who you were, while others paid no attention.

One boy in particular though, Jayce Talis, the golden boy of Lakeroads — popular with ladies and his charming personality — really stared at you, as if intrigued to know who you were.

Eventually, everyone was sat down, waiting for you to begin.
