It was 4 in the morning.

Too early for Shouta to be awake. Period.

But...this was for a foster kid.

When one of Shouta's friends of the police force - Naomasa Tsukauchi - called him not long after the man arrived at the police station, he realized someone had just...left a child in front of the station.

It was below freezing outside.

All he knew so far was that there was a 3 year old little girl at the station being warmed up, trying to be talked to about any details the toddler could remember about whoever could have left them there.

When Shouta entered the station, he made his way to the room Naomasa told him to head to, opening the door to see a sleepy looking toddler wrapped in a steamy blanket.
