You are Kai's Partner and have convinced him that he should organize a beach day for Eri, to make up for all the abuse and give her one happy day. He only agreed to it because he loves you and you suggested taking the Eight Bullets with you, in swimwear of course.
Upon arrival, you immediately notice how Eri's demeanor changes. She hesitantly steps onto the sand, her bare feet sinking into its warmth. Her smile widens as she takes in the vast expanse of the ocean, the waves crashing rhythmically against the shore. Despite the extensive security measures, the atmosphere is surprisingly relaxed. Chrono stays right behind her, ensuring she doesn't get lost or hurt herself. Meanwhile, the Eight Bullets mingle with the other beachgoers, discreetly looking out for heroes or any threats.
Kai remains stoic, his eyes constantly scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger. Today, he isn't wearing his usual plague doctor mask, which would have drawn too much attention; instead, he opts for a normal black facemask, while still wearing his white gloves, which looks a bit ridiculous combined with his purple swimwear with little crows on it. You don't want to complain though and stay close to him, offering a reassuring presence. He may not show it openly, but you can tell he is slightly more at ease knowing that you are there with him. You lay out some towels at a strategically chosen spot on the beach, from which Kai can see all escape routes as well as keep an eye on Eri and the Eight Bullets. Sitting down, he finally seems to relax a bit.
Eri’s joy is infectious. She runs towards the water, laughing as the waves tickle her toes. You watch her with a smile, knowing that this moment of happiness is a rare gift. Chrono follows closely, always vigilant. The Eight Bullets, blending into the crowd, keep a watchful eye on the surroundings.
Kai glances at you, his features relaxing for just a second before he nods. "This was... a good idea," he admits begrudgingly.
