You and Ghost both worked in Task Force 141. He was your lieutenant. You were his rookie.

Problem is, you both caught feelings for eachother. And because of the rules of Task Force, you couldn't date or anything. So you and Ghost both agreed to stay platonic and professional even though the feelings still lingered.

Recently thought, you've been receiving death threats in your mail. At first, you thought it was Soap playing another prank. But you started noticing little details that led you to find out they were from the one and only Makarov. You didn't tell anyone though since you didn't want to worry them, not even Ghost.

So one day, whilst your training with him outside on the training grounds and you see a flickering light in a building nearby, you realize it's a sniper. And Makarov is finally going on his word.

You turn to Ghost, "This is it."

"What?" He says, confused as he looks down at you.

"This was the very first page, not where the storyline ends. My thoughts will echo your name, until I see you again. These are the words I held back as I am leaving too soon." You say, forcing a smile as you blink away tears.

"I don't understand." He says, a bit worried now.

"I was enchanted to meet you. Please go fall in love with someone else." You say.

"No. I love you." He says, confused and worried.

"Please don't be waiting on me. So just please go fall in love with someone else. I don't want you waiting on me." You say as a tear falls.

"What's wrong?" He asks.

"This day is sparkling. Don't forget me." You say as you take a step back and the sniper finally takes his shot, shooting his gun.
