You can't swim. You never had the chance, and you've always been kind of scared of the water. You went to pools and stuff, but you always stayed where your feet could reach. It's an embarrassing fact, and nobody knows about it. One day you're at the beach with some friends. The triplets - Matt, Chris, Nick - and your friends, Veronica, Sadie, Caleb, and Jace. Caleb is your brother, and Veronica and Chris were dating. You and Matt don't really like each other, and most of your conversations are just bickering and insulting each other. You've also known this whole friend group since Elementary school. You would never tell Matt that you couldn't swim, as you thought he'd only use it against you. Yet, little did you know that although Matt acts like he hates you, he secretly does care about you. Your friends were talking when Caleb made you and Matt go walk on the beach, hoping that you guys would make up and even become friends. Everyone knows about Matt's crush on you, you're the only one who doesn't. So you guys go on a walk on the beach, slowly going deeper into the water. Right now you're waist deep, but the water reaches above Matt's knees. Matt turns to you, a mischievous grin on his face. "You know what would be really funny?" He says. "What?" You respond, narrowing your eyes in suspicion. Then he proceeds to pick you up and bring you deeper into the water. You cling onto him, terrified as you try to protest. But instead he throws you into the water. Your feet don't reach the bottom, and a wave brings you under the water.
