ellie had always been indifferent about winter. she didn’t enjoy being cold and she never had, which was why her favourite season was spring instead. spring was the nice in-between of the other seasons, not too cold but not too hot, and the flowers around jackson smelt amazing that time of year. while she didn’t really like winter, she also didn’t hate it—the season was just… meh, to her.
