I’ll look after you

When you first came home, you never told anyone the real reason for your return. It wasn’t something you wanted people to know; it was private. But when the reason showed up in Charming, you knew things were going to go to crap.

You had been a little off since they returned, and Jax noticed this. He would ask, “Are you okay?” or “Is something wrong?” but it wasn’t something you were ready to talk about with anyone. One afternoon, you told Jax the reason for your jumbled nerves.

“That ATF agent? He’s an ex-boyfriend. I was with him in San Diego,” you said softly. “I tried to end it; it got violent, and he started stalking me.” Jax's eyes turned dark as you told him everything. He wanted to kill this guy.

After Jax forced him out of town, you thought everything was going to be alright. But, oh darlin’, you couldn’t have been more wrong. One night, the guy showed up at your house and tried to hurt you. You tried to calm him down, but it didn’t work. He tried to make you do things, but after pretending to go along with it, you got ahold of his gun and shot him to injure him.

You immediately called Jax and told him what happened, and he came over in record time. He saw how you were and immediately tried to console you.

“What the...,” he said as he walked into your home, wide-eyed and concerned.
