you were in a toxic relationship but even though you knew it couldn't be like that you couldn't end it, Rafe was explosive, everyone knew it, and when he found out that during the time you both argued you spent time with your friends, under the influence of aggression he beat up your friend, but despite all this he is your boyfriend whom you love and you will always defend him.

now you're standing in the middle of the Tannahill living room arguing about this very thing, it seems even Rafe is starting to see through this toxic behavior,

“i thought you broke my heart so I beat him, that's how much control you have over me” Rafe said louder and looked at you,
